Chronology of cameras Graflex

Like all Century Graphics, this camera is built from Mahoganite (Bakelite), but here it is black and covered with a green leatherette. The bellows are red.

It is equipped with a Kalart coupled rangefinder with a trumpet-shaped eyepiece. Along its entire length, the rangefinder is covered with a metal piece that allows for the quick attachment of a bulb flash. This also serves as a handle for the right hand, and it is practically impossible to use this camera handheld without the flash.

The Century models do not have a focal plane shutter, thus lacking the right-hand trigger. The trigger on the lens is operated by a flexible cable release that falls under the thumb of the left hand holding the leather handle on the left side.

The back of this Century is equipped with a 120 Roll Holder Graflex "23" for 6 x 9 format. There is also a Graflex "22" for 6 x 6 format and the possibility to use 6 x 9 sheet films in a Graflex film holder.
